Joe Hanley has been lecturing and writing for over 50 years on Bible subjects. Over these years he came to recognize a void in the study of the judgment as related to the Revelation. Also, he noticed many writers both inside and outside of his fellowship seemed to complicate the Revelation to the extent that it appeared completely subjective. With an eye to this shortcoming, The Judgment Seat of Christ has been written comparing Bible phrases with Bible phrases and Bible descriptions to Revelation symbols. However, little ink is used on the symbols of the Revelation.

The Revelation the Lord gave to John is the current newspaper of his day. John says, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3: Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

This is a simple work by a simple man only praying for a better understanding of the precious book we call the Bible. May God bless all that look on its pages with open minds with a love of the truth that they might be saved, 2nd Thess. 2:10.
